Local Enhancement Programme 2025 (Running Costs) : Application
Description
Kildare LCDC are inviting applications from community groups/organisations in Kildare for the Local Enhancement Programme (LEP) towards their running costs.
The priority of this funding is to aid Community Groups/Organisations and Centres located in areas of disadvantage and/or with a clear remit to provide services to the most socially excluded in particular:
- Community Centres/Facilities, Parish Halls
- Family Resource Centres
The Local Enhancement Programme is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and administered by the Local Community Development Committees (LCDC) in each local authority area.
Kildare LCDC has been allocated €34,905 to support running costs incurred by community groups/organisations in Kildare. This includes energy costs, heating costs, refuse charges, rental/lease costs, audit and accountancy fees, insurance costs, website maintenance.
The running costs must be incurred between 1st June 2024 and 31st December 2024. A copy of the running cost bill or invoice for the eligible period is required as part of the application process. Proof of payment, where payment is made, should also be uploaded with the application.
The maximum eligible amount for application is €1,000.
Only one application per group/organisation for Running costs will be assessed. In the case of more than one application, the first application received will be the one assessed.

All applications must be
- Made on this official online application form
- Accompanied by all relevant supporting documents
- Submitted by 5.00pm on Friday, 28 February 2025
- Late or incomplete applications will not be considered
- Please note that when you click on "Apply" on the right you will be invited to setup an account/profile for your group. Please have your group's email address to hand (we strongly recommend using a group email address rather than a personal email address).
- If you are already registered, please use the email address used to set up the profile for your group.
- It is essential that you reply to the signature verification email that will be emailed to you when your application has been submitted as otherwise your application will not be processed (please check all mailboxes as it may go to you junk/spam/promotions folders).
