Local Enhancement Programme 2025 (Capital and Equipment) : Application
Description
Kildare LCDC are inviting applications from community groups/organisations in Kildare for the Local Enhancement Programme (LEP) towards their capital projects/equipment.
The priority of this funding is to aid Community Groups/Organisations and Centres located in areas of disadvantage and/or with a clear remit to provide services to the most socially excluded in particular:
- Community Centres/Facilities, Parish Halls
- Family Resource Centres
The Local Enhancement Programme is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and administered by the Local Community Development Committees (LCDCs) in each local authority area.
Kildare LCDC has been allocated €198,096 to support Capital and Equipment costs. This includes funding towards carrying out necessary repairs and improvements to facilities, energy efficiency type projects, purchase of equipment e.g. tables and chairs, tools and signage, laptops and printers, training equipment etc.
The maximum amount eligible for application is €10,000.
Only one application for Capital and Equipment per group/organisation will be assessed. In the case of more than one application, the first application received will be the one assessed.
Making an application
All applications must be
- Made on this official online application form
- Accompanied by all relevant supporting documents
- Submitted by 5.00 pm on Friday, 28 February 2025
- Late or incomplete applications will not be considered
- Please note that when you click on "Apply" on the right you will be invited to setup an account/profile for your group. Please have your group's email address to hand (we strongly recommend using a group email address rather than a personal email address).
- If you are already registered, please use the email address used to set up the profile for your group.
- It is essential that you reply to the signature verification email that will be emailed to you when your application has been submitted otherwise your application will not be processed (please check all mailboxes as it may go to you junk/spam/promotions folders).
